Mashreqbank´s new dedicated mortgage centre in Jumeirah
Mashreqbank opens UAE’s first dedicated mortgage centre in Jumeirah

Mashreqbank has established the UAE’s first dedicated Home Loan Centre at its new branch in Jumeirah to cater for Dubai’s booming freehold real estate market.
Conveniently located on Beach Road near Jumeirah mosque, the Centre will have advisors on hand to offer quality financial advice to would-be property buyers. Mashreqbank, which was the first UAE commercial bank to launch mortgage products, provides the widest variety of mortgage facilities in the marketplace, including pre-approved loans for potential buyers.

Most Dubai developments are sold out almost as soon as they are announced. To over come this, Mashreqbank’s mortgage centre will provide prospective buyers with pre-approved mortgages. This will enable them to quickly understand their eligibility and the status of approval, enabling them to buy the property with comfort.

Mashreqbank Home Loan consultants are specially trained in the full range of mortgages offered by the bank and can also visit customers in their home or office to provide financial advice.

Jumairah is a prime residential area that has traditionally appealed to professional expatriates. The recent increases in Dubai rents, which climbed 20 per cent in the latter half of 2004 alone, is pushing more and more long-term residents to look into the option of buying their own home.

Despite the frenetic building boom, however, there is still a shortage of finished properties available. As a result, the majority of new purchases are not ready for occupation for months or even years to come. To cater to such buyers, Mashreqbank provides attractive repayment structures. This relieves customers of having to simultaneously pay both rent and loan repayments by collecting only the interest during the construction period.

Mashreqbank undertakes credit assessments and approvals for both residents and non-residents and provides mortgage terms of up to 15 years. The bank also provides equity release facilities, enabling customers who already own ready and approved properties in Dubai to borrow against the original purchase price.

Full details about Mashreqbank’s Home Loans can be found on the bank’s website: www.mashreqbank.com, by phoning 2174800, by visiting Mashreqbank Jumeirah, or any of the bank’s 34 branches across the UAE.
