The address formed part of an ongoing partnership between the leading property consultant and RERA, with the aim of maintaining Landmark Properties position at the forefront of industry development and helping to continue to raise standards within the sector through greater information flow between RERA and industry experts.

Speaking at Landmark Properties’ AGM, Craig Johnson, General Manager, said: “At Landmark Properties we believe that it is essential for real estate brokers to get to grips with Dubai’s ever changing property market, therefore a closer relationship to official bodies such as the RERA is essential. In his address Mr Marwan Bin Ghalita outlined plans for Dubai’s real estate market in the next 18 months. These include plans to provide much needed official studies to give all parties involved in property transactions a better understanding of the market. In addition RERA will extend its reach through the issuing of licenses, an introduction of professional building inspectors for both buyers and developers to ensure quality for all developments.

“It is beneficial for us to partner with industry professionals such as Landmark Properties to gain feedback and educate all parties involved in real-estate. Ultimately this will help us to regulate the market as qualified real-estate firms support our initiatives. Furthermore the open channel of communication that exists between RERA and Landmark Properties will benefit the market as a whole,” stated Mr Marwan Bin Ghalita, CEO, RERA.
